A daring attempt by Phoenix to challenge the existing norm of the media to give you an alternative perceptive on the global news, with the first hand reference of high-ranking officials, experts, researchers, political advisers, analysts, strategic professors from different geo-political backgrounds.

Catching up the fluid state of the international affairs is not an easy task. To keep you well-braced without losing the pertinent judgment, commentator Qiu will present you the world report with relevant analysis and comments from foreign media. For example, cross-strait commentator Jiang Su-hui and scholar Sun Seng-liang have been invited to discuss the way out for Taiwan in the 21st century.

Shanghai-born Qiu Zhen Hai studied German in Shanghai where he obtained a Master Degree. In 1997, he returned to Hong Kong from Germany with his Doctorate degree.

Previous to joining Phoenix, he was senior journalist with Wen Wei Pao and Deutsche Welle.

In 2015, after watching the interview of Wang Jie Fu on the subject of human organs donation, Hong Kong tycoon Mr. Li Ka Shing donated RMB8 million to the related development foundation to support their research and projects. Even the Pope watched the said interview, this confirmed the influence of this programme.
