“As a backpacker reporter, I feel the mission of society. As an anchor facing the global audience, I feel my vision is broadened. All this growth and change came from the moment when I decided to particpate in Miss Chinese Cosmo Paegant in the year when I was 19.”

Chengzi comes from Wuhan. She graduated from the department of journalism of the School of Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University. In the 2006 Miss Chinese Cosmo Paegant, her pure and refreshing tempermant plus the super high online popularity won her the final championship.

After graduating from Baptist University, Chengzi joined PhoenixTV. She had been working as an entertainment reporter, a weather woman and a current affair reporter in Beijing and Hong Kong. These experiences on different job posts set up a solid foundation for her to become a news presenter later.

Chengzi wrote the book Growing Beauty with Chengzi in her spare time. In the 210,000 word book, she detailed the agenda of Miss Chinese Cosmo Paegant and her own feelings and experiences from the paegant.

Chengzi is quietly elegant in nature. Her broadcasting style is calm and refreshing. Now she is the host of Good MorningChina and OmniTalk.
