Ivy had worked in Taiwan UFO Radio as a DJ and as a news presenter in Taiwan Chinese Television System and Taiwan CTi News. In her career, her hardwork and strength had harvested her number of important awards. In 2002, she won the the 1st place in the Channel [V] Selection. In 2004, she was awarded the number 3 most popular female DJ by online voting in Taiwan. In 2005, she entered the finalists for the 4th Award for Excellence News’ TV class breaking news award.

In 2007, Ivy joined PhoenixTV. At the early stage, she mainly hosted entertainment programmes. Her outspoken personality and straight-forwardness made her an instant fame in the show Behind the Headlines with Wen Tao. She also becomes a regular guest speaker for that show. Since 2011, she started to host Phoenix Info Billboard. She gives the network culture a playful explanation using her own humorous language from a unique point of view. This absorbed a large number of fans and followers. An indepth understanding of international news and plenty of interviewing experiences enables her to display a high level of ability to control the overall situation in breaking news reporting.

Currently, Ivy CHU is the host of OmniTalk and Global Online.
