From Taiwan, Jason Chien is gentle, elegant, genuine and practical. He majored in International media and had worked in many television stations inTaiwan as a presenter or a reporter. Because of his quick-witted and nimble style in braodcasting, he was once commented as one of the few hard to find male anchors with a real soft humorous style within the Chinese television circle.

Jason had participated in numerous live broadcasts ever since he joined PhoenixTV. You can find him in the coverage of the 911 terrorist attacks in the US, in covering Shanghai’s bidding for the World Expo, etc. The type of shows he had hosted is also very vasitle.

Jason’s broadcasting style matured into one with easy assurance and confidence. In recent years, he put his focus on financial programmes. The programme New Fortune Report which is hosted by him was awarded as the number one rating programme in Phoenix Info Channel for three consecutive years since 2009.

At present, Jason Chien is the host for Phoenix Financial Daily Report and The Asian Journal.
