Graduated from Beijing Foreign Language Institute, majoring in Spanish language and literature, Dong An later went to study in Spain Aragon Europe Business School and got his MBA there. Dong An is multi-lingual.  Besides mastering Mandarin, Spanish and English, he is also fluent in basic French, Italian and Portugese.

He had worked in China Central Television’s Spanish Channel as an anchor, during which period he interviewed many business and political leaders in Spanish and hosted evening galas bilingually.  His great performance made him the yearly Excellent Presenter and won the title of Advanced Worker. In 2008, he joined PhoenixTV.  This broad stage helps him tapping his abilities and reaching his potentials.  He soon becomes one of the new force presenters. 

In 2006, with his own personal efforts, Dong An was selected as the New Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong.

Dong An loves sports. He was once a track and field athlete above the 2nd level of national standards and had competed in the National Univesity Games.  He had led the PhoenixTV basket ball team many times to win the Hong Kong Media Cup.  He integrates the grittiness and vitality of an athelet into his calm and confident broadcasting style.
