Lei WANG

Lei Wang currently serves as a senior on-camera correspondent and reporter of Phoenix Satellite TV. She joined Phoenix TV since 2008.

Lei Wang has rich experiences in the coverage of finance, current affairs and breaking news. Lei WANG interviewed many top financal experts suchas IMF Vice President Zhu Min and AIIB President Jin Liqun during Davos Forum 2016 in China. Lei WANG has contributed lots of efferts on current and indept analysis news reports for Chinese finance. 

Lei Wang has covered international economics forums or evens such as annual Davos Summer Forum in China, Fortune Global Forum and Boao Forum. She is also good at reporting in-depth news stories for financal topics such as Brexit, RMB accession to SDR, the fluctuation of RMB currency, the New Formal of Chinese economy ect. 

Lei Wang is also experienced on reporting politics and policy news. She joined the NPC and CPPCC meeting report for 7 times since 2009.She has done exclusive interview with Former US Treasury Secretary John Paulson, and former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, etc.

Before joining Phoenix Satellite TV, Lei Wang worked at Yangcheng Evening News, which is a famous newspaper company in southern China. In terms of current affairs, she has won many national news awards such as the CPPCC Journalism Awards.

Lei Wang received her BA degree from the Department of Journalism of Lanzhou University, and obtained Finance/Accounting MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
