Weiwei HUO

Weiwei Huo currently serves as Phoenix TV’s journalist in Beijing.He joined Phoenix TV Beijing Department in 2014 as a political journalist.

Weiwei Huo has extensive experience covering politics, policy, military and breaking news such as the explosion in Tianjin port, Nursing home fire in Henan. In Beijing，the capital of China，Weiwei Huo was responsible for reporting on events such as the NPC & CPPCC every year，the WWII military parade, and so on. Ordinarily, he served as Ministry of foreign affairs journalist, Ministry of national defense journalist,  The state council information office journalist.

In last several years, Weiwei Huo has especially focused on the high tension on the Korea peninsula, has visited South and North Korea many times. He has reported on the military actions such as bombardment between North and South in August 2015, Military Parade 2015 to mark the birthday of party, DPRK’s 4th nuclear test in 2016, and 7th Congress of the worker’s party of Korea.

Before joining Phoenix TV, Weiwei Huo was the chief journalist, editor-in-chief for MASTV(Macau Asia Satellite TV). He graduated with a B.A. from CUST(Changchun University of Science and Technology, CHN), and with a Master of Mass Communication. from Changang University(ROK).
