Ling HU

Ling Hu is a Phoenix senior reporter and anchorperson, who is currently the Phoenix Beijing chief reporter,"Weekend Long Men Zhen","Fei Chang Dao" and "China movie words things people series" anchorperson. She had won Phoenix the world's best interview correspondent awards,the most professional spirit award,the best exclusive interviews and reports award and a series of honorary awards.

She is also a guest professor in General office of Broadcasting and Television.

Ling Hu graduated from the Communication University of China with a major in Broadcasting and hosting in 2001. She joined Phoenix as a correspondent. Prior to joining Phoenix,she completed her master degree in University of Liverpool with major in Politics and Mass Communication.

During her correspondent time,she has conducted an exclusive interview and dialogue on a series of important figures in China's political and business circles. During Wen Chuan earthquake in 2008, she interviewed former President Hu Jintao and Former premier of the state council Wen Jiabao. She also interviewed former President HU Jintao in 2010 Yushu earthquake. In 2014,she was the first time to interview the premier of the state council LI Keqiang at epicenter of the visit in Long Tou Shan town as well as exclusive coverage of his inspection at epicenter which he accidentally slipped and washed hand by slurry water. This news has been reproduced by the mainland China network media.

The most impressive thing is in 2008.5.12 Wen Chuan earthquake.Ling Hu as a Phoenix correspondent at the first interview with reporters in the quake zone, she moved to Dujiangyan - Shifang - Deyang – Mianyangjiangyou - Beichuan Chenjiabei village - Mianyang Jiuzhou Stadium - Mianzhu Hanwang town - Mianzhu Zundao town as well as the hardest disaster area. The longest time,she stick to the rescue site nearly 24 hours continuously reported back from the front. And later she went to the Yan Sai lake dam of Tang Jia Shan and she conducted an exclusive interview Former premier of the state council Wen Jiabao who has inspected the disaster area three times. She was in Yushu and Yunnan Lu Dian earthquake disaster zones at the first time. Her style of reporting is calm and objective.

Ling Hu was the first time to report in the CCTV fire scene in 2009. So far,it has been involved in the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference within twelve years. She was tracking interviews with US President Barack Obama,the US First Lady Michelle Obama,US Vice President Joe Biden,Russian President Vladimir Putin,German Chancellor Angela Merkel,British Prime Minister David Cameron,Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and a series of foreign leaders to visit China. While participating in several large-scale military exercises reports,the Sino-Russian exercises in the Yellow Sea,China-Russia joint naval exercises in Vladivostok,Indian anti-terror exercise on land,the Sino-US joint maritime search and rescue Aki,the Thai armed forces joint training,Jinan Military Warriors 2007 and a series of military activities.

As early as 2006,Ling Hu went with Chinese labor delegation to Japan in the initial ice-breaking critical period in Sino-Japanese relations,she had an exclusive interview with secretary general of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party Nakagawa,Japan's Social Democratic Party leader Mizuho Fukushima,and a series of political figures.

In 2008,Ling Hu became a correspondent with the first mainland tour group to Taiwan. At the end of 2009, she once again become a delegation to Taiwan correspondent reported Fourth Chen-Chiang summit.
