Jenny Wong Tsz Yuen currently serves as Hong Kong Phoenix TV’s senior bilingual reporter. She reports Mandarin on InfoNews Channel and Cantonese on Hong Kong Channel. Before joining Phoenix TV in 2011, she worked as a news anchor in HKTV, after winning the 1st MAD Anchor Global Competition.

During her time with Phoenix TV, Jenny plays a key role covering Hong Kong’s local news and has roamed across the world, reporting on a wide range of stories, covering politics and breaking news, including the 2012 Russian Presidential election, 2012 Hong Kong Chief Executive election, 2013 Thailand political crisis, 2014 the tracking of the missing Malaysian Airlines plane MH370, 2014 Yunnan earthquake, 2014 Hong Kong’s umbrella movement, 2015 mourning of Singapore’s founding father Lee Kwan Yew, 2015 historical Xi-Ma Meeting, 2016 Myanmar’s historical handover of power, 2016 ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and ASEAN Defense Minsters’ Meeting. She was awarded Phoenix TV’s Quarterly Exclusive News Award (季度獨家新聞獎) in 2014 and Phoenix TV’s Quarterly High-quality News Award (季度優質新聞獎) in 2016.

Jenny jointly published several books with Mei Niang (梅娘), the famous contemporary Chinese writer earning the name of “South-Ling-North-Mei”(南玲北梅) with Eileen Zhang Ai Ling (張愛玲), including “Counterparts of the Youth”《與青春同行》, “The Encounter”《邂逅相遇》and “The great writer & the little artists”《大作家與小畫家》.

Jenny graduated with a B.A. Degree in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Social Science in Media Management from Hong Kong Baptist University. She was awarded the HKSAR Top-10 Outstanding Student Award in 2006.
