Winnie Ngai, currently serves as Phoenix Satellite TV’s Hong Kong-based Deputy Assignment Editor.  She joined Phoenix Satellite TV in 2001, as a Financial Reporter first.  Since 2003,she has been providing daily coverage of major local events, worldwide breaking news. She also reported on a variety of feature stories.

Before joining Phoenix Satellite TV, Winnie had worked for The Hong Kong Daily News, The Sing Pao, and The Oriental Daily, as a Financial Reporter, covered news of the SOE and Red chips companies listed in Hong Kong stock market and China Macroeconomic.

She graduated witha Bachelor of Economics from Ji Nan University, in Guangzhou China,and with a MA in Comparative and Public History from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
